Lynne Hackles
Lynne Hackles

Lynne Hackles began writing in 1980, selling the first dozen stories she wrote, together with a novel for pre-teens. Then came her first rejection! Since then Lynne has sold several hundred short stories, been placed in many short-story competitions, has had her work in anthologies and has two books out about the craft of writing.
She is a tutor for a correspondence school and has given talks and led workshops all over the UK. Her husband, known as the LSO (Long Suffering One) drives her to these, as well as reading every word she writes and supplying her with endless cups of tea.
Lynne also writes for Writing Magazine each month.
She now lives at the foot of the hills in Malvern, Worcestershire, where the town's motto is 'Lift Up Thine Eyes Unto The Hills' - something Lynne frequently does when she's supposed to be working.
