John works mainly on the editorial side. He drifted into publishing after getting a scholarship to Oxford University and a Double First degree in English, back in the mid 1970s. John Hunt Publishing Ltd started as a co-edition (packaging color books) publisher in 1989, and over the last half dozen years has been reinventing itself as a trade publisher.
